Window film sizing guide
BEFORE YOU ORDER

Finding your size is simple.

Measure the visible glass from edge to edge, not the outer window frame. Check both width and height, then select a roll that gives you enough film to cover the pane and trim neatly.

For multiple windows, measure each pane separately and add up the film you'll need.

Choose your size ↗
GOOD TO KNOW

Questions? Answered.

Can I really install OffView by myself?

Yes. The wet-application method is designed to be manageable for beginners: clean and wet the glass, peel the backing, position the film, then smooth out water and bubbles. Take your time, especially with larger panes. A second person can make big windows easier.

What if I get bubbles while installing?

Small bubbles can happen. While the film is wet, gently work from the center toward the edges with a soft-covered squeegee. Check for trapped dust and follow the supplier's curing instructions before judging the final appearance.

Will people be able to see inside at night?

Reflective privacy film works best during the day when it is brighter outside than inside. At night, if your lights are on and it's dark outdoors, the effect can reverse and people may see in. Use curtains or blinds for nighttime privacy.

Will it make my room dark?

The film is intended to let daylight through, but reflective or tinted films reduce some visible light. How bright your room feels depends on the film's light transmission, your window orientation and the weather.

Can I cut it to fit my window?

Most roll-style window films can be trimmed to fit. Measure the glass carefully and use a sharp blade with a safe cutting surface. Always check the product instructions for recommended cutting and installation techniques.

Is it suitable for every type of glass?

Not necessarily. Some films are unsuitable for certain double-glazed, coated, tinted or specialty glass because of thermal stress risks. Check your supplier's compatibility chart and your window manufacturer's guidance before applying.

Can I remove it if I move out?

Removal depends on whether your particular OffView roll is static-cling or adhesive-backed. Check the product specifications before promising residue-free removal, especially if you rent.

What if I order the wrong size?

Review the size options before ordering. If you make a mistake, contact OffView support to check the applicable 30-day return policy and eligibility before cutting or installing the film.

Excellent 4.8 / 5

  • love it

Easy to apply and it looks clean on the window. We love having more privacy without losing the daylight.

    Maya U.

  • Very private

The privacy film made such a difference. Natural light still comes through, but our home feels much more private.

    Joshua S.

  • Easy to install

We installed it on a large kitchen window and it made a surprisingly big visual difference. Using lots of soapy water made positioning the film easier. The roll arrived in good condition and felt sturdier than expected.

    Peter A.

  • Looks Good

The film looks clean from outside and still lets a good amount of light into the room. There were a few bubbles at first, although most disappeared after I worked them out with a squeegee.
